Club General Meeting at Lloyd's place
January 11, 2012 at 7255 210th ST E
- Meeting was called to order at 7:10 by the club president, 19 members present. Mike K. gave a report.
- Nov 9, 2011 meeting minutes were read and approved
- Treasurer’s report was presented by John R. and hard copies distributed.
- Jerry S. got a price for local ticket printing, $380 for 10,000 tickets. Motion to purchase this proposal was approved.
- Motion to discuss rental or utility cost with Bill S. was approved.
- Farmall tractor sanding and priming the frame was discussed. Volunteers for sanding are John R., Paul F., Paul N., Tom B., and Terry M.
- Calendars are available for $5.
- Mike K. will ask Dave B. to do party projection.
- Discussion aired on whether club will pay for member party meal. Opinion heard from the floor that payment was approved at a previous meeting. Decision to not pay due to small bank balance was made.
- Tractor club membership meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, as opposed to even numbered months.
- Need to organize a committee for ticket selling.
- County will be approached for building a loading ramp at the showground.

Club General Meeting at St Patrick's Grill
October 5th, 2011
1) Meeting was called to order at 7:15 by Layton, 17 members present.
2) Aug. 3, 2011 meeting minutes were read and approved
3) Treasurer’s report was presented by John Riesgraf
Deposits hence $10628.85
Expenses – Farmall $1628.46, Fuel $348, Office supplies $460.31.
4) Farmall Update
Farmall parts will be loaded onto the club trailer and taken to Mike Eamon for inspection and blasting.
5) Misc
Lloyd will seek help for recording meeting minutes.
Kevin presented a list of committees.
Terry thanked the show participants.
Show date for 2012 selected for July 20, 21, 22 (coincident with Root River ) – motion approved – Terry will schedule with the county. County doesn’t demand a rental fee, rather we could accumulate an escrow fund for a building.
Suggestion made for accounting profit centers, namely show, tickets, tractor pull and general fund. Item was tabled until new officers are installed.
Decision made to expand board to add two members at large to the current four – Pres. / VP / Sec. / Treas. + 2 at large.
Christmas party – VFW deemed OK with some improvement in service – tabled until Nov. 9 meeting. Thursday night tentative.
Nominations for officers open until Oct. 24, 2011.

April 13th, 2011 held at 7255 210th Street
Meeting was called to order at 7:15 by Layton, 22 members present. Ham sandwiches were provided by Ron K.
Feb. 2, 2011 meeting minutes were read.
Treasurer’s report was presented by John R. Copies were available.
Terry M. has 16 sponsers.
Raffle tractor poster is nearly complete.
Cedar Lake farm – will have an on site visit next 2 weeks.
Show vendors – CRATC responsible for seeking out. Vendor list not available from Pioneer Power. Vendors need to sign Operator Certificate of Compliance. Vendor fee of $20 was approved.
Meetings will occur monthly until show time.
Discussion of family memberships was tabled.
Selling at Scott Carver flea market instead of Little Falls was approved, May 6, 7 and 8.
Ticket sale assignments were made for Scott Carver, Rice County and Tractor Supply. More assignments at the June meeting.
A July 20 meeting at Cedar Lake farm is proposed for 6 PM.
A Farmall C demonstrator available from Bill S. was approved for 2012 raffle.

Feb. 2, 2011 held at 7255 210th Street
1) Meeting was called to order by Layton
2) Old minutes review:
- Will pointed out the dates for the show are now July 29-30-31.
3) John's treasurer report highlights:
- Four charitable donations were made at $100 each
- $900 for tractor and planter
- $95 for drawbar part
- $842 for tires
4) Christmas Party Review:
Terry said consensus on dinner was positive, food was good, and will review with VFW:
- Delay during set up from salad to meal
- Tables packed too tight together
- Lack of waiter help
- Paul N. asked if a second serving line was needed
- Joe G. commented that evening was good, meeting with county and general overhead display.
5) Raffle tractor:
- Needs: RH fender (Bill to look at his B), water pump, pre-paint (seal) rear deck, and tool box
- Move tractor Tuesday, and set up/prep to paint Wed. 2/9
- Tickets: getting estimates from same printer and one other up to 8000 3 for $5
- Place show ad on the back, instead of advertising
- Orange and creme colors for the tickets
- Trip option: chose Las Vegas over Orlando or Cancun. 4 nights for 4 people. Use within one year.

1) Meeting was called to order at 7:35 by Layton

- Decision to purchase Allis CA was made. MMSA by Lowell & Terry
- Decision to send tractor out for sand blasting and purchase new tires was made. MMSA by Bill & Ron
- 2011 raffle drawing date and place to be determined
- 2011 show date at Cedar Lake Farm was set for July 22, 23 and 24. MMSA by Terry & John R.
- Beer & food vending will be handled by the establishment. There is no rental charge to CRATC
- Questionnaire will be drafted for volunteers for show duties and mailed. Need a committee to organize tasks. Terry will make an announcement at the Christmas party.
- Christmas party is scheduled for Thursday Jan. 13, 7 PM at the Prior Lake VFW.
- Officers will select 3 recipients for charitable contributions
- New search committee members for future raffle tractor are Martin, Bill, and Will.

Club General meeting at Arlan’s place
August 4, 2010
- Meeting was called to order by Layton Umpleby.
- Minutes of the June 2 meeting were read and approved.
Treasurer’s report was presented and approved.
Upcoming Show Business
- August 6/7/8 ticket sales were assigned – Fri. Joe/Jerry ( Howard Lake ) - Sat. Paul/Lloyd ( Scott/Carver ) – Sun. Jake & wife ( B. Seykora not available ).
- Dalton show to be discussed at subsequent meeting.
Misc.
- Exploratory Committee to present our case at a future
meeting.
- New business – Additional summer meeting dates were suggested, namely, no meeting in Jan., meetings in Feb., Apr. and monthly May through October, then in Dec.
- John R. presented a motion and approved to send $20 worth of tickets to non-participating members.
- Ron K. is in charge of pre-meeting food preparation. He needs to know where and when.
- Next meeting is tentatively set for Sept. 8 although some members feel it a Sept. 1 meeting would be timely to allow discussion on Dalton, meeting place to be determined.

Club General meeting at Denny D's shop
Wednesday April 7, 2010, 7:00 PM
AGENDA
- Meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by Layton.
- Meeting minutes of February 3, 2010 meeting were read by Lloyd and approved.
- Treasurer’s report was presented and approved. The report was available in hard copy for review by the members in attendance.
- The trailer cost $8661. Estimate for extra signage was estimated at $500 to $700. Decision was made to get it done now instead of delaying. Suggestion was made to look for sponsors to advertise with decals on the trailer.
- Suggestion was made to display posters of past tractors inside the trailer.
- Membership cards were available.
- MAPPS meeting at Rice County – Four CRATC representatives are scheduled to attend.
- Membership drive – members were encouraged to bring a friend to the June meeting. An application form needs to be created.
- Tractor Supply store manager has been selected – Zackary Heuring. He is favorable to continuing a CRATC tractor display, as in the past. A tentative date was set up for June 12 & 13.
- Show ticket sales assignments were made through July 2010.
- Exploratory committee status was given by Terry – Scott County is interested in hosting future club events at the Cedar Lake farm. Committee will continue attending meetings.
- A search committee for acquiring the 2011 raffle tractor was formed. Volunteers are Will, Ron, and Lloyd.

Club General meeting at Bill's Shop
December 2, 2010
1) Kitty Jo Burton of the Burton Insurance Agency spoke on the club insurance policy
a) All club events are covered such as meetings at Bill’s shop, the club show, etc.
b) Club tractor is covered at parades, shows, and going to and from events for comprehensive/collision
c) Liability when being towed is covered by towing vehicle
d) The club trailer would need to be added to the policy at a cost of about $70 per year
e) Member’s tractors are NOT covered
f) Golf carts are usually covered under a homeowner’s policy, while a tractor IS NOT.
2) Treasurer’s Report
b) 3 donations were made to a local food shelf, children’s hospital, and veterans society (all are 501 C3)
c) Raffle tractor purchases were presented
d) 22 paid members to date. (invitations were mailed to 72 members, or former members)
e) There are 5 new members to date
f) Club bought tools and tool boxes at a cost of $500
g) Raffle permit is being processed by Scott County
h) The club tax exemption is not valid on sales tax
3) Election of Officers for 2010
a) President – Layton
b) Vice President – Will
c) Secretary – Lloyd

4) Raffle tractor project assignments were made
a) The list will be posted at Bill’s shop
5) Christmas Party
a) A decision was made to hold the party at the Prior Lake VFW
b) The cost will be $15 for a choice of beef or chicken. Club will pay for members. Guests will pay for their meal.
6) Club Newsletter
a) A club newsletter will be created and issued quarterly
b) Contents will include news, photos, want ads, etc.
c) The newsletter will be sent electronically to those with e-mail (about 33 members,) or mailed
d) Annette U. and Dave B. will head up this effort
7) Club Website
8) Club Tool Box
a) The club has purchased a tool box and members are expected to return tools to the proper place when they have finished using them for the day.
b) Will G. is going to apply labels to the drawers of the tool box.
c) The tools will be marked with spray paint to identify them
9) Club Calendars
a) 2010 calendars will be printed using photos from the past year and our show
b) Cost will be $5 and 30 will be ordered
10) Raffle tickets were discussed and an advertiser is being sought to offset some of the printing costs
11) New Business
a) A motion was made and passed to donate $100 to a fund for the children of the manager of Tractor Supply.
b) Bill, Layton and Jo G. presenting their results in looking for a club trailer. Bill and Joe will follow up on this.
